By Foot, By Train, By Automobile...

Hiking & Biking Directions:

In Downtown Historic Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, which is downhill from the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and across the train bridge from the lock 33 along the C&O canal, you’ll find Hannah’s at the end of Potomac St. along the Potomac River side. Look for the Red Train Car!

From Washington D.C. or Points South from I-95:

Take I-495 to I-270 North for 30 miles. Then take I-70 West (Exit 32) just after the first Frederick exit. Immediately merge Right all the way taking the US-340 exit (52) towards Charles Town, WV. (Then See From 340-W)

From Baltimore Area or Points North from Interstate 95:

Take I-695 to I-70 for 40 miles to the Frederick, MD area. Then take US-340 W (Exit 52) towards Charles, WV. (Then See From 340-W)

From US-340 W in Frederick, MD:

Stay on US-340 for 19 miles until crossing from Maryland to Virginia and then into West Virginia. This tri-state intersecting point is cross over by two bridges.

For Visits to the National Park, as well as a Bite to Eat: Take a Left on Shoreline Dr. at the 1st traffic light after crossing the 2nd bridge. There is a $5.00 charge for parking, and a shuttle that takes you into the Historic National Park Town. Hannah’s is located at the end of Potomac Street (down from John Brown’s Fort) in the Little Red Train Car.

For Those Just Looking to Get Their Grub On: Take the very 1st Left after the 2nd bridge onto Shenandoah St. This will lead you right into the Historic Park Area. At the end of the street (in front of John Brown’s fort), take a Left on Potomac Street, and you’ll find us waiting in the Red Train Car at the end of the street.

From Northern Virginia via Route 7:

Take VA-7 West to Merging onto VA-9 towards Charles Town, WV for 10 miles. Make a slight right at the fork onto VA-671. Stay on for 8 miles, taking at Left onto US-340 W at the Tri-State Exxon station. Take US-340 W into West Virginia and over the bridge:

Note: During Summer Months through October, Shenandoah St. can be closed for from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the weekends. The park prohibits parking downtown during these times, and you would have to take the shuttle or walk to the historic district.

Parking:

Hannah’s offers plenty of Free 2 hour parking. During peak seasons for the park, Shenandoah St. may be closed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the weekends. If you’re visiting the park for the day, you can take the shuttle into town, or walk from some free parking spots along Washington St. (Which can be found by taking a Right at Union St. or taking a Right at the traffic light across from the Main Park Entrance & Shuttling area.) There should be no problems at all finding parking during Weekdays, Evenings or during the Off-Season. So come on down & Get a 'Q!
